The Report on the 2020 Bible Bowl

 

The 2020 Bible Bowl was held at the Mount Zion Second Baptist Church on February 22nd. The official competition started at 11 a.m. with the Laymen Department giving a Spirit-filled devotion. The Youth Department of Mount Zion led the program complete with emceeing, scripture, and prayer.

This year, the Bible Bowl was comprised of three teams in both age groups and it was the the second year of the Association having the Jeopardy style format. The following churches participated in the 12 and under age group: Dixie Hills, Mount Zion II, and Poplar Springs. The following churches participated in the 13 and up age group: Dixie Hills, Mount Welcome, and Poplar Springs.

The awards distributed are:

 

Dixie Hills-3rd Place Winners, 12 and under
Mount Zion II-2nd Place Winners, 12 and under
Poplar Springs- 1st Place Winners, 12 and under

Mount Welcome- 3rd Place Winners, 13 and up
Dixie Hills-2nd Place Winners, 13 and up
Poplar Springs-1st Place Winners, 13 and up
